The Moment She Stopped Second Guessing Herself -Changed Everything.

I stepped into the courtroom.

She turned and looked back at me. A knowing smile flickered across her lips-- I watched her shoulders drop, just slightly. I nodded, steady and calm.

She wasn’t alone.

She sat up straighter, leaning toward her attorney to whisper something. He glanced back at me and gave a subtle nod of recognition. We were comrades in arms.

Sharon was referred to me by a former client who had completed a 12-week coaching container with me after a difficult breakup.

Sharon’s story was different.

She had built an entire life with a man who, over time, had eroded her sense of self-worth and stability. There was no physical abuse—but the manipulation, the inconsistency, the quiet distortions of reality had taken their toll.

When we first spoke, she looked at me skeptically and said,“I want to believe you that I can feel confident again… but I barely have the energy to get through a day.”

Sharon was (understandably) in emotional turmoil—pulled in every direction by family, friends, and the voice of her soon-to-be ex-husband, which still echoed in her mind long after conversations ended.

When she chose to move forward with the 12-week container, I’ll be honest—I was surprised.

Not because she wasn’t capable, but because she was so depleted.

She was grieving the loss of her marriage, the future she thought she was building, and a version of herself she no longer recognized. On top of that, she was judging herself—for staying, for not leaving sooner, for not “seeing it.”

Everywhere she turned, internally and externally, there was pressure.

Her nervous system was dysregulated. She was anxious, exhausted, and disconnected from her own clarity.

So we began there.

Over the next 12 weeks, we untangled the patterns, the emotional loops, and the identity she had been living inside.

We worked somatically—helping her body process what her mind couldn’t resolve.

We worked emotionally—giving her space to feel anger, grief, confusion, and truth without collapsing under it.

And like clockwork, something shifted. She began to stabilize.

She began to hear herself again.

She began to trust what she was seeing.

So when the judge ruled—granting a fair and favorable outcome in her case—I felt it in my body before I even fully processed it.

I stood up, unable to contain it.

We met in the middle of that courtroom and embraced, both of us in tears.

“I couldn’t have done this without you,” she said.

I smiled.

“No… you couldn’t have done this without you.”

And she knew exactly what I meant.

Because yes—the legal outcome mattered.

But what mattered more was this:

She stood in that courtroom grounded, clear, and steady… across from a man who once made her feel small.

She spoke for herself.

She held her position.

She believed she was worthy of a fair outcome—and she no longer needed anyone else to confirm it.

That was the real shift.

She had untangled from the identity she had been given—the one that said she was not enough, not worthy, not strong.

She had come back to herself.

The triggers that once consumed her no longer had the same hold. When they arose, she met them with awareness instead of spiraling.

She had tools. She had boundaries. She had clarity.

And maybe most importantly—she had reconnected to her own life.

Two months after her divorce was finalized, she took a trip to Japan to see the cherry blossoms in bloom—something she had always dreamed of doing.

While she was there, she met a man.

“Not the love of my life,” she told me later, laughing. “But charming. Familiar.”

He reminded her of her ex.

And this time?

She recognized it immediately.

She didn’t give him 17 years. She didn’t even give him 17 minutes. She walked away from that old energy, and chose to focus on the brand new blossoms.

This is a woman who reclaimed her time, her energy, and her worth.

This is what this work is all about.
